The deputy director of the Institute for Disaster Resilience, Catalina Undurraga, explained in a conversation with Alejandro Alaluf at Guidelinethe scope of this new institution and why it is relevant that it exists in a country with high exposure to natural hazards.
"The idea of this new institute is to attack the entire disaster risk chain, starting with better anticipation, recovery, prevention, which is part of the resilience cycle," said Catalina.
