Paula Millar Contesse

Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management Executive, with more than 29 years of professional experience in corporate environments. Professional training as an Accountant Auditor and postgraduate studies Advance MBA Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He has led the implementation of Compliance areas and Crime Prevention Models, as well as risk management processes. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of high performance internal audit areas.

He is currently head of Audit and Compliance at the National Electric Coordinator, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

Special interest in collaborating and being part of organizations that need to optimize their internal control structures, identify opportunities for improvement in key processes and ultimately contribute to obtain corporate governance that stands out for its transparency and sound management.

Rodolfo Paredes Esparza

Vice President

Professor at Universidad Andrés Bello and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of Clinical Simulation, Immunology and Parasitic Diseases. He obtained his degree in Veterinary and Livestock Sciences in 2000 and graduated as a Veterinary Doctor in 2001 from the Universidad de Chile. In 2005 he obtained his PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile and in January 2011 he obtained his Master's degree in Human Resources and Management Skills at the European University of Madrid, Spain.

He is currently Academic Director of Clinical Education and Simulation that reports to the General Directorate of Clinical Education and Simulation in the Academic Vice Rectory, leading the team of the Simulation Hospital of UNAB that has 3 sites in Santiago, Viña del Mar and Concepción for careers in the area of Health. Previously he served as General Director of Teaching at VRA (2014 to 2019), Director of School of Veterinary Medicine (2010 to 2013), Academic Secretary of the School of Veterinary Medicine (2008 to 2010).

He is Chairman of the Institutional Bioethics Committee since 2012. His research papers have been published in several mainstream journals and he has participated in national and foreign congresses as a speaker in the areas of Parasitology, Immunology, Medical Education and Clinical Simulation. His research has been funded by various entities such as Fondecyt, Fondef, MINEDUC, FIA, CORFO and UNAB.

Ronald Mennickent Cid

Astronomer, PhD in Physics obtained at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Postdoctorate at Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, USA. Professor of the Department of Astronomy at the Universidad de Concepción. Director of Research and Artistic Creation of the Universidad de Concepción 2018-present.

ANID and BASAL researcher in the area of stellar evolution and binary stars; more than 150 internationally refereed scientific papers. Visiting astronomer of the Paranal, La Silla, Tololo and Las Campanas Observatories. Astronomy popularizer.

He has held exhibitions of poems, photographs and astrophotographs.

Diego Farías Pérez

Auditor Accountant from Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana, Diploma in Business Management in the Energy Industry from PUC, Diploma in Fraud Prevention, Detection and Investigation from Universidad de Chile and was recently certified as a specialist in Ethics and Compliance by the International Compliance Association (ICA).

Audit and Compliance Supervisor at the National Electric Coordinator, with outstanding experience in Process Audit and Compliance, malpractice prevention/conflict of interest management and fraud prevention.

Barbara Ribbeck Neale

Civil engineer in biotechnology from the University of Chile, with 20 years of experience in the areas of basic and applied science research, industrial property, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, plant varieties, technology transfer, licensing, business, project development, evaluation and management.

She was deputy director of intellectual property at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile for 6 years and is now deputy director of Intellectual Property Transfer and Intellectual Property at the same institution.
